One Drop’s Partnership With Sanitation and Water for All (SWA)
ANNOUNCEMENT
One Drop’s new partnership with Sanitation and Water for All
The One Drop Foundation is excited to confirm our new collaboration with Sanitation and Water for All (SWA), a multi-stakeholder partnership of governments, civil society, the private sector, United Nations agencies, research and learning institutions, development banks, and the donor community. We are pleased to join several of our current partners such as the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and IRC-WASH, as well as participating with national governments and multilateral agencies, to achieve universal access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene.
The mission of the SWA partnership is to eliminate inequalities in realizing the human rights to water and sanitation by raising political will, ensuring good governance, and helping to optimize financing. The partnership focuses on the hardest to reach and most vulnerable individuals, communities, countries, and regions, in addition to putting women and girls at the centre as dynamic agents of change.
This is well aligned with One Drop’s A∙B∙C for Sustainability™ model and Social Art for Behaviour Change™ approach, which are based on the power of art to trigger emotion, action, and sustainable change related to water, sanitation, and hygiene.
We believe that collaboration is key to achieving SDG6 and through this membership, we hope to strengthen networks and collaboration globally, regionally, and nationally, in countries where we are already present, to build resilient WASH systems together.
Together with SWA, One Drop is turning water into action.
