EPISODE 1
Find out how Amédée Sinini, sanitary engineer and project manager for Saniya So+ in 17 health centers, in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, experienced the power of social art.
In this episode, Amédée explains how the mystery customer approach, in the case of the implementation of the Saniya So+ project, allowed agents to enter the health center environment in order to collect data and analyze it with the health care staff to subsequently better organize actions aimed at improving practices related to the conditions of access to safe drinking water, hygiene and sanitation in this community.
EPISODE 2
Find out how Emmanuel Koama, social art coordinator for behaviour change with Espace Culturel Gambidi in 17 health centers in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic experienced the power of social art.
In this episode, Emmanuel recounts how "joking relationship", a cultural value which is very common in West Africa, and very valued in Burkina Faso, was used to convey messages of awareness in order to change the behaviours, especially in the area of water, hygiene and sanitation. This cultural practice has made it possible to break down the barriers between health workers, support workers and users of health centers.
EPISODE 3
Discover how Edwige Yameogo, midwife practicing at the Karfiguela health center in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, experienced the power of social art.
In this episode, Edwige describes how the experience of the slam within the framework of the Sanyia So+ Project contributed to changing the behaviour of the population around hygiene and to sensitizing them to the ways of behaving in a health center. She also details how the experience of the slams has positively influenced her behaviour first and then that of her colleagues and how her awareness work has turned into interactive learning where she has fun with the participants while passing her message correctly.
